Using neopentyl glycol (NPG) as a newly added polyol copolymerization monomer, and simultaneously applying nanomaterials as catalysts, the strength, transparency and other properties of PET-G materials are further enhanced. This effectively avoids the high production cost and the large amount of methanol gas generated during the production process when using 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) as the copolymerization monomer for PETG.
